He was supposed to be a lifer for the Atlanta Tigers, but the team left him out in the cold, choosing to protect younger players in the expansion draft. The next thing Dash knows, he’s in a strange city with a fledgling team, and his estranged wife has served him with divorce papers. Not the best way to start a new chapter in his career.

As the team struggles to find its identity and score points, Dash struggles with where he fits in the lineup, getting beyond his failed marriage, and an unwanted attraction to the one woman he should avoid.
